About the Columbia Professional Firefighters Local 793

The Columbia Professional Firefighters Local 793 is a non-profit organization that has proudly advocated for the safety, well-being, and professional interests of our firefighters—and the citizens we serve—for more than 80 years.

Representing over 260 active members and numerous retirees across the City of Columbia and Richland County, Local 793 works in partnership with the community and local government to uphold the highest standards of service and public safety. United in our commitment, we continue to protect those we serve with professionalism, integrity, and dedication.
